Super Fun alert: Science World

I went to Science World today and man let me tell you. If there was ever a place to abandon a child you did not want...this is it. 2,000 frenzied, germ ridden, coughing, sneezing, booger wiping, crying children and 50 adults staring blankly at the mechanical babysitters wishing the weekend would end so the little turds were back at daycare. You could leave your little squirt there and I am sure it would make it's way into someones mini van.

At $20 for two adults and one rug rat it is pretty cheap entertainment. We were there for about 2 hours, or approximately 2 hours too long. While junior's little head almost exploded with excitement, I did find solace in the cotton candy and seeing some twerp 10 year old smash his nose open while "trying" to destroy one of the exhibits. "Don't kick" means "kick as hard as you can" to a ten year old.

Keep in mind when you read my posts that I am a bitter man and that my views of children are not shared by the the Vancouverite staff. I hope they all have many children and feel the joy I feel every day.

on sunday we did the PMC Sierra Science Fair Fun Run that started/ended outside Science World (err...Telus World of Science) - admission was then free for anyone who had their race bib. that could explain some busy-ness.

i took my niece and nephew a while back. it was still pretty fun... slightly tiring... and i had to wash my hands a LOT throughout - stick icky kid hands on everything.
