We Heart The "Media Wars"

"Vancouver Magazine" sure makes an easy target this week. I was going to link to thier new cover story entitled Media Wars - that's right, count that I've already stolen our first post title, check! The feature, covered sub-titled "Inside the No-Holds-Barred Battle for your eyes and ears" is a barn burner of the internet is the future, the free dailies are a debacle, Coleen Christie and Jill Krop like so look the same, and that young people don't even read newspapers. But while you can buy it on newstands, you can't even see what it looks like online. And they scratch their heads wondering why the Internet is the future. Unbelievable.

Of course, on the whole free daily front 24 Hours President Glen Clark hit the streets to celebrate a poll showing them with 56% readership edge over The Metro. Smaller and Orange is the black people. Can you even take him seriously without his moustache? PS: Is Dose even still publishing? My god it is like the college newspaper gone mainstream. No, that might be cool.
