Vancouver's Papers: 24 Hours Phones for Crack

You and I both know I want to stop covering 24 Hours amazing covers and headlines, but come on, when they knock them out of the park like Barry Bonds it must continue. Today's headline, "Dial 1-800 Crack" is the paper apparently discovering that you can, shock, order drugs via these things we call phones. Plus get caught up on the doings of Lululemon's smug Flip Flop party.

The Sun meanwhile, ledes with a pretty depressing "More 2010 Budget woes" and the photo under that is of a women praying - although she's praying for peace in Lebanon you crafty devils. An article claiming that some two-bit American show out of Florida has rated the P.N.E. the "'best in Canada' for family entertainmen". Clearly they've never been.

The Province goes bigtime today with a massive "Stolen truck's wild ride ends in arrest" and this story about "a stolen semi-truck careered across the Lower Mainland for more than an hour, blowing through red lights and driving into oncoming traffic" seems more like an opportunity to put a photo of the RCMP's fancy Air 1 - really? Air 1? They could find a cooler name like Airwolf? or Blue Thunder?

UPDATE: Figures. The one day we don't go through the hassle of reading Metro Vancouver in PDF form and we miss Metro giving a shout out to The Vancouverite. So welcome Metro readers if you've found us via that article.

24 Hours last week letter writer-Ms.Beatrice Chapman acknowledge the Pride Parade is a shame. For this 24 Hours editor allows too many attack letters./Fact is most people disapprove of homosexuality.For only a minority homosexuals get too much pro-media attendition unfortunately. Most media in this regard act like a much of cheer-leaders.

Greater Vancouver has too much left wing type of media. Such as the Vancouver Courier,West Ender,Radio station 1130-AM,Vancouver Sun,Burnaby Now,New Westminster Record and most of the media personality's,editors,publishers and much,much more./ Just for entertainmen and information plus great songs, special weekends programs too is the Vancouver radio station CKBD- 600 AM also on cable FM 94.3 is a good one.

Just because J posts the truth and gives opinions on a blog topics-this does not mean J is full of hate but perhaps Richard K is full of ignorance and fear of the truth.When another can't return a sound informative reply, they often resort to using labels such as hate,homophobic,ect., against the person.This method is weak and stupid. Tollerance is not just for left wing ideologers and homosexual activists but for all opinions and real arguements. Many of the radical homosexual activists themselfs have a mean and non-tollerance streak themselfs when others disagree with them.

Richard K, you seem church and Bible phobic and a bigot towards Christianity. A bigot is intollerant in regards to a race and church. This is what bigot really means. Perhaps your photo Richard should be beside the word-bigot in the Collins dictionary.

I am sorry J and Douglas. My dearest friend was beaten to death on his way home from work and then his body vandalized by the attackers. He is gay. Pretty much when anyone disapproves of homosexuality I feel they are just as responsible for what happened a few years ago. My comments were'nt meant to be personal attacks. I'm done with this.

Judging correctly is a plus if not many will play the one for the fool. Christ informed by the same measure you judge others you too will be judged. In other words it's not bad to judge but judge correctly. Their are real morals for the benefit of ones self and for others. Without good morals the world would be in much worse trouble. Chrissti-Lee Foxxe you yourself made a judgement in your above post too.

For Christi Lee Foxxe, personally I don't hate nor dislike homosexual people. A homosexual man had wanted to marry me-this did not insult me, it was a compliment but it's not my thing. Jesus Christ loves homosexual people too just as much as heterosexuals but not the same sex-sex act nor group sex. Within Christianity their is love and forgiveness plus to help ones fellow humans but theirs also morals too.Morally and naturally homosexual sex is wrong-a homosexual only society would naturally self destruct. However homosexuals are more than welcome at church and many Christian Pastors have helped privately many homsexuals for a variety of problems without knocking them down because their homosexual. But we can agree to disagree, this is what forums are about opinions, information.
