The Puck Stops Here: Dan Cloutier Update

You would think when Global News, The Province, and the Canucks all have denied that Dan Cloutier was in some sort of drunk driving accident, the rumours would just go away. And can we add the Police to this denial now:

Police issued a statement last week to dispel rumours that a Vancouver Canucks player was involved.The statement said: "Investigators will confirm that no members of the Vancouver Canucks' hockey team or their family members have been involved in this accident and/or investigation in any capacity."

Case closed. But you sure would think that Cloutier has been working as a cabinet minister for Paul Martin's Liberal government based on how this rumour keeps going. And scratch your head if you can figure out why I am still getting and reading daily comments about this. Someone suggested, "You may want to pay close attention to the news tomorrow as it is expected that charges are to be laid in this investigation, and it appears the rumors will be substantiated at tha time."

Dude, page 11 already man.

Where has Dan Cloutier been? How come we have heard no updates on his surgery?? How come they haven't showed him hanging out at the Games?? Is he not part of the team anymore? I think the fans would appreciate an update on Cloutier's knee surgery. I know I would.

Where is that cry-baby goaltender Dan Cloutier. If he had nothing to do with the accident why hasn't he held a press conference letting people know of his progress?

Cry-baby? Shut up! He probably gets sick and tired of people like you baggin' on him. I wouldn't give a press conference just to satisfy a ungrateful fan like you either. People forget he was an integral part of the rebuilding of the Canucks whether you want to admit that or not. Give the guy some freakin' respect. I'm sure he hasn't been injured because he enjoys it.

thank go for people like you (your daddy) my thoughts exactly!I will be seeing Dan this weekend (a neutral setting that is) for all you negative piss ants that need to have your nose in everyone else's business but your own...please rest assure he is healthy, no this does not bring back the deceased but Dan did not kill them!
