So yes, it is cool when new buildings utilize old ones. But no, the $600,000 to $2.5 million price tags for the Jameson House are tough to take. Then again when you get your membership at the Terminal City Club to go along with it, it can't be all bad can it?

Luxist, which always seems to be interested in Vancouver good things, reports that the 37 floors and 155 units at 830 West Pender (at Howe) which will generate their own power by taking advantage of the wind and an internal power plant and features a water recycling sytem - a first for Vancouver as the building captures rain water on the roof. That's a fairly cool green twist on things. Not as cool as the club membership mind you, but what is?
